So thangs that have been happening lately. Well my VM season 2 DVDs came last week! YAYAYAY! And thay are so pretty and the gag reel is so funny and i love them. I had VM Fest 06 over the weekend. It sorta went from friday to monday. It wasnt as pefectly timed as last year, but still awesome. And the timing of its arrival was kinda perfect cos it was here in time for the season 2 premiere on ten, just like last year. So yes VM fest 06 was great.
In other VM news, 500 DVD sets have now been donated! The initial goal was one to each of the 50 states, then all of the top 100 neilson markets. And the 'in our dreams' goal was 500 donated in total. The 50 states goal was hit prety quickly i think. The top neilson markets was hit over a month ago. And then a few days ago we got to 500 dvds. Thats alot. In just three months crazy VM fans have put together about 25000 american dollars worth of donations. And thats not including the plane at the beginning of the campaign. And theres still a month to go till season three starts. Its official VM fans are the craziest.
And monday at uni i found out danni likes VM too! She missed last weeks ep and wanted to know who was at the door and i was all SQEEEEE LOGGIE POO! And she was all YAY i hoped it would be! And then heidi actually said i prefer duncan. I was disgusted and went all are you serious???!! on her. And shes all yeah i never liked logan and so i got all HE SLEPT WITH HIS SISTER!!! I mean who the hell does that???!!! And she's like um, yeah i've only seen like three episodes so whatever. And i was thats right you know nothing logan is a good little woobie. Despite the duncan liking it was nicve to actually talk to people about VM. I mean besides b or dad who doesnt even care or get it. He doesnt even like logan either. I could just slap him sometimes. Duncan is yuk.
So anyways, i also took chink to the vet on sat morning. He is generally a good healthy boy. He didnt even have to get his temperature taken. And he meowed the whole way there but as soon as we got in the room he just curled up and was fine. He has some teeth problems so we need to feed him chicken bones, and he has been over licking a part of his back, but other than that he's fine. And to think he was such a little runt when we got him. And now he's a big almost three year old. Time flies.
I also went and got a whole bunch of books over the weekend. Sat morning i went hopping and got The Bridge To Holy Cross and The Summer Garden cos i loved the Bronze Horseman so much. So sat i spent $50 on two books. Then sun i went to the newcastle library sale in town and got 5 books for $2.50. That is kinda stupid.
I had this assignment due for maths this week which i thought would be terrible. I had to put together a program for teaching patterns and algebra. and considering i had never even done a maths lesson plan before i figured that would be hard. But it got put together pretty easily tues afternoon. So that turned out to be the easy part. wed i had to present the program and resources to the class. And cos we broke into groups i had to do it three times1 I'm not so good with the talking in front of people thing. But i actually went pretty good i think. I didnt have nearly as many resources as the other people but the feedback sheets i got were good so whatever.
I worked yesterady for seven and a half hours. Thats the longest shift ive had in ages. Possibly ever. BUt it was fine. I'm working again this arvo and then its the weekend yay! I have no plans beside the vague will probably catch up with mum at some point. So i will most likely sleep in and read and do nothing. Lovely.
Now i must go call my centre about starting feildwork on tuesday.
