So we ate and chatted then i spent the rest of the afternoon shopping. The scrapbooking store was alright, it had some variety. Mostly paper, and expensive paper at that. I didnt get too much there, just too expensive. Did get some nice embelishments though, buttons and stickers and ribbons.
Went to spotlight and was much more impressed. They had heaps of stuff, that place is huge. Was walking around for ages collection all different things. Found some good paper and stickers and all kinds of stuff. Quite pleased really. So yes scored quite alot of scrapbooking stuff really. Now i just need photos to scrapbook, i keep running out.
Walked from spotlight all the way up hunter street to the mall. Was hoping to find some interesting shopping, but really there is just nothing there. So pretty much just bought who and went to the park and read till dad finished work and went home. And so ended my shopping adventrure. spotlight is worth a trip once in awhile, but mostly i think i'll stick to charlestown.
Meanwhile for those of you who arnt keeping count, its only 9 days till christmas!!! Thats one digit now!!! How exciting is that!!?? Pins and needles! I cant wait its ganna be a good christmas, i can feel it in my waters. Dad is less grinchy than usual. Mum is staying over. I got my christmas shopping done reletivly early and am quite satisfied with the presents i got. Its all excelent (veronica excellent, not mr burns excelent).
Speaking of, i seriously HATE the commercial for veronica this week. It makes me cringe. I mean they show the one second of her skinny dipping and completely take it out of context, and made the whole thing about finding out who killed lilly, and seriously 'the only thing we know about this killer is that they love a hot blonde'. I mean what the hell is that??!! Its a great episode they dont have to try and make it sexy or all about lilly or whatever. Who writes that crap??!!
